We Are Each Children

God bless the children. Let us see that we are each children in the eyes of the Mother, in the eyes of the Father—the Holy Mother, the Eternal Father.
Children are curious. They see through fresh eyes. I'm thinking of the children of this earth that come here. I pray that they are born on a beautiful planet, and they look with so much hope, with so much joy, to today and to the future, that they are not encumbered or burdened by the pressures of the wrong decisions of their ancestors.
I pray that our children have clean water to drink, that they have clean knowledge and information to share, that they have ways to understand their body and their mind. That the ancient ways return in new ways, better, more refined, deeper, more profound and wise.
I pray that the teachers are our children, and that they will show us the way to return to harmony. Harmony is all around me. Sometimes I look out at the world and I can't see it, but it is still there.
This sacrament reminds us of that child, of its dreams, of its life, of the mystery of its existence, its very heartbeat, its craving and yearning for love, for nurturing, to give, to be a part of life, to stand up, to sing, to smile, to dance, to be a human being—this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, this divine chance.
So the sacrament, it connects us to what is most precious in the human heart, that which has always been there. This medicine is of nature, and it reminds us of our own nature. This is why we sometimes ascribe to it a parental figure or a grandparent, the grandmother, because it is way back in our family history, way back in our lineage, before human beings descended from apes, before we descended from trees, before we descended from amphibians and reptiles and single-celled organisms, before we were the trees, before we were the water, of the water that came to this planet and birthed life on this earth. This medicine is there. It is an intelligence that is here in this universe, just like we are. When we drink it, it wakes us up to that intelligence in the universe where we are.
Harmony is all around me. Sometimes when I look at the world, I don't see it, but it is still there. Divinity is everywhere. Sometimes my eyes are clouded, and I think I'm separate, but I look in my heart, I know everything is coming from one place. There is nothing more divine than that. To not just be the heartbeat of God, but to be the heart of God in that we all play the role. You just as much as me, we hold up mirrors for each other to look into the mystery deeply. Near the sacrament that gives us the opportunity to change the future and, at the same time, change our past by what you do in your heart in this moment. Forgiveness, compassion, acceptance, love. If you truly understand these things, your past will be changed, wiped, clean, cleared, refreshed, purified, not just for yourself, but for your ancestors, their karma, the ones that did not know what they did, huh? You have that power. And you have that power to pass it on to future generations and to the people around you through your silent vibration in your heart. You have that power inside of you.
So bless this medicine, and bless your heart.
Some of us have come here to be light workers, something as such. If you want to work in the light, sometimes you have to walk through the darkness, because you don't know what the light is like until you've tasted its opposite. And so some of you who have come here to work in that way, you take on a lot of the shadow, and you forget that it is only so to strengthen your heart so that you can see the tremendous light that you came here to bring, yes?
So when you find the darkness, remember the light behind it. When you fall, remember the direction that you were facing, because if you could truly see in all directions, there is that light, and you could never go in the wrong direction. Some people take lifetimes to get it right, but that's okay. Some say you have here and now to do it the right way. But don't worry, perfection takes time, and time is perfect.
